“What are your some of goals for 2012?
Grand Prize Winner Stephaune Haylock
Grade 4, Countryside Montessori
My goal for 2012 is to be a good big brother.
My mom is about to have a baby. To be a good big brother I will cooperate/help
my mom, dad, and especially my sister. We will be ten years apart so I will be a
big help to my parents. I am learning to cook so I can help my mom out when she
is busy with the baby by cooking what she wants me to cook for dinner. I just
know I am going to be the best big brother in the whole world!
1st Runner-up Winner Christina Sanders
Grade 3, Keswick Christian School
My goals for the year 2012 would be the following; Eating more healthy food
because if I don’t then I wouldn’t have strong bones. My second goal is being
kind and tender hearted to one another. My third goal is to do my chores so I
don’t get in trouble. My fourth goal is to get good grades in school so I can
get a toy from my mom and dad. My last goal is to do more sports so I can be
better at it.
2nd Runner-up Winner Alyssa Khadaroo
Grade K, Heritage Elementary School
My goals for next year are to read as many books as possible to learn new words
and to be more of a smarty like my mommy. I love to read books because they help
me learn and understand a lot of things. So far I can spell 25 words and read 14
books all by myself. My mommy says reading is brain food... I want to read more
books next year so that my brain to grow more, that is my goal for next year
2012.
