With recent concerns over poor pet quality food,
holistic care has become popular preference among pet owners. As a
part of their Pet Care Seminar Series the Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Tampa Bay presents Nutrition and
Holistic Pet Care seminar to educate humans on holistic habits
for their companion animals on March 13th
7-9pm at the animal shelter in Largo.
Seminar
presenter, Dr. Gregory Todd, DVM, has been studying Traditional
Chinese Medicine for more than 10 years. In 1996 he became
certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and
practices holistic veterinary medicine at the Animal Hospital of
Dunedin.
During
this free seminar, attendees can learn about preventative health
care, the importance of exercise, the best food for their pets and
some non-traditional therapies, such as acupuncture.It is important for pet owners to consult their veterinarian
before making any radical changes in your pet’s routine or diet.
The
SPCA Tampa Bay’s free seminar, Nutrition and Holistic Medicine
for Animals will be held on Thursday, March 20th, 7-9 p.m. at
SPCA’s Humane Education Training Center, 9099 130th
