Pinellas About the cover

On our Pinellas cover are the Wannemacher children. As you can tell they are a family on the go. We thank mom and dad, Eric and Susan Wannemacher for sending in a photo for our contest.

The oldest is Jacob age 14, he is a 9th grader in the CAT program at Lakewood High School. Jacob’s hobby is robotics. Rose age 13, she is in 8th grader at Thurgood Marshall Fundamental Middle School. She enjoys horseback riding and drawing. Charlie, age 10, is a 5th grader at Sanderlin International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Charlie’s hobbies are soccer and baseball. Seth age 5, is in Kindergartener at Sanderlin International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Seth’s hobbies are swimming and surfing on his boogie board. The youngest is Sage, she is 3 years old and attends Temple Beth El Preschool. She loves reading, cutting, coloring and gluing.

The Wannemacher family have fun going to the beach during the day and in the evening and they love camping. We thank Bruce Wooster from Northeast Photography for taking the cover picture at the park behind Edward White Hospital.

Hillsborough About the cover

On our Hillsborough Cover is the beautiful baby Sophia Marie Acosta, 14 months old. Sophia won “Tampa Bay Next Super Star Baby Contest” at the Smart Baby Expo in June. Jessica Dana Studio sponsored the contest and one of the prizes Sophia won, was to be Families on-the-go cover model.

Pictured here is the Acosta family, dad Nicholas, mom Raquel, baby Sophia Marie and sisters Rachel and Stephanie. The Acosta’s live in New Tampa and are parishioners of St. Marks the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Sophia sisters, Rachel is 15 years old, she is a junior in high school and Stephanie is 12 years old, and in the 7th grade. Both sisters enjoy traveling, listening to music, dancing, bowling, bike-riding, and going to the beach. They're both big fans of the Yankees with Derek Jeter being their favorite player. They're extremely excited with having baby Sophia as their little sister. They love playing with her and watching Sophia imitate them and make lots of funny faces!!!

Jessica Dana is a world renowned photographer whose pictures have appeared in top magazines around the country. Jessica is an award winner as well having received the Gina Alexander of Hollywood award for photography. Her studio is located at 2207 Sunset Lane in Lutz , Florida 33549. You will find Jessica most days hard at work inside the “Red Barn” capturing an individual (s) and their relationship to the outside World. Jessica lives in New Tampa with husband, Gregory and their two sons, Jack and Dillon.
