About the Pinellas County Magazine Cover

On our Pinellas cover are Austin & David Bybee. Dad, David sent in this picture in May.

Austin, 5 is a kindergartener at Cross Bayou Elementary. He enjoys martial arts and hanging out with his mom and dad.

David is a 3x World Kickboxing Champion, who own and operate a Martial Arts & Fitness Center. He enjoys spending time with his son and having fun with my friends.

About the Hillsborough County Magazine Cover

On our Hillsborough cover are Caneel, Carlin and Cowboy Dixon. Mom, Deirdre sent in the picture below of her at Yosemite National Park this past summer.

Caneel, 10 and in 5th grade, attends Gorrie Elementary. She enjoys RSL Tampa Soccer and swimming. Carlin, 8, attends 2nd grade at St. John’s Episcopal School. She also does ballet at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and recently performed in the Nutcracker with the Orlando Ballet. Cowboy, 5, also attends St. John’s in Pre-K. He also plays soccer for RSL Tampa, and takes violin at Tampa Suzuki Strings. They all enjoy their schools and doing their best work.

All three love playing outside, riding their bikes, and camping with their grandparents. The family also enjoys attending Hyde Park United Methodist Church (HPUMC). Sunday night is Family Game night at the Dixon household where we play lots of board games and of course kickball and flashlight tag are favorites.

Mom (Deirdre) retired from the Army last year and now works at the University of Tampa’s Leadership Center in the John Sykes College of Business. Dad (Paul) works with Time Customer Service. They both teach 2nd grade Sunday School at HPUMC.
