 On
our Pinellas cover is Jakob and Joshua Armitage. Their
mommy, Sharon sent in the picture below for our cover
contest.
4 years old, Jakob attends Pre-K 4 at Plato Academy Charter
School in Clearwater, where he loves learning the Greek
Language. He will attend Kindergarten there in the fall.
Jakob is a big fan of Buzz Lightyear and Thomas the Tank
Engine. Jakob is taking swimming lessons at the Long Center.
2 years old; Joshua attends Preschool at Light of Christ
Early Childhood Center in Clearwater. Joshua is happiest
when he can play outside where he loves to climb; swing and
slide on his swing set. Joshua is also a fan of Thomas the
Tank Engine.
Sharon works at Bayview Gardens Retirement Community in
Clearwater and she volunteers time on the Plato Academy PTO
and Co Chair for Light of Christ Parents for Kids. Daddy,
Frank works at Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg. He
coached Jakob’s Tee Ball team last fall on the Countryside
Little League.
The family enjoys spending time together at the Largo
Central Railroad in Largo Central Park and try to make it
there each month to ride the trains.. We are members at
Espiritu Santo Catholic Church.

 On
our Hillsborough cover is Kira Nicole and Alyssa Kennedy
Taylor. Their mommy Lisa sent in the picture below for our
cover contest. Lisa is assisting in raising money for a
Cystic Fibrosis walk that will be in May, for the Cystic
Fibrosis (CF) Foundation in Tampa. To find out more about CF

7 year old, Kira was born with CF and has acute
hydrocephalus. Kira is a very busy little bee! She attends
classes at ‘My Gym in Wesley Chapel. Kira says “to keep her
healthy”. She dances at ‘Children’s Dance Workshop’. Kira
competed with a Dance Team who won numerous awards. Being on
the stage gave her the confidence to thrive and the energy
to maintain her health.
4 year old, Alyssa attends a 4-K program at Hand-in-Hand
Academy in Lutz. She has really succeeded in her class.
Additionally, she loves playing with her sister “her best
friend ever”. During free time at home, Alyssa loves to play
outside with her sister and her friends on their scooters,
on the playground etc. Also, she loves to paint and work on
her computer games.
Lisa is a certified reading instructor, who stays at home
with her daughters. She loves being their teacher. Their
dad, Mark, has a Master’s degree in Biology and a Master’s
Degree in reading, which he loves to do. He is currently
finishing up his PhD in College Administration at Clemson
University. Currently, he is the Director of General
Education at The Art Institute of Tampa.
