About the Pinellas County Magazine Cover

Pictured on our Pinellas cover are Erich and Ethan Holcomb. The picture was taken at Maximo Park in south St. Petersburg. Their mom, Laura sent in the picture below. She said “We often get comments on the boys red hair.”

Erich is in 5th grade and Ethan is in kindergarten. The boys attend Bay Point Elementary. Enich is involved in Cub Scouts and enjoys swimming and drawing. Ethan is learning to ride his two-wheel bike and swimming. One of the camps the boys will attend this summer is College for Kids.

Mom, Laura is an ESE teacher at Gibbs High School. Dad, Greg is a self-employed landscaper. The family is very involved in scouting, camping and biking. They live in St. Petersburg.

About the Hillsborough County Magazine Cover

Pictured on our Hillsborough cover are the Schlichter boys, Joey and Sammy. The picture was taken at Ballast Point Park in south Tampa. Mom, Lisa sent in the picture below of her international family. Joey and Sammy are from Russia, Ben is from Germany and Lisa and Tyler are from the United States. Older brother Tyler was unavailable for the cover picture. Tyler is in college studying English.

The boys attend DeSoto Elementary. Joey is in the 4th grade in the gifted program. He likes writing nd drawing. Sammy is in the 3rd grade with honor roll. Sammy likes climbing and skate boarding. Both boys love science, nature and anything do with space. The boys are in their Kennedy Space camp uniforms where they are planning a week at camp.

As a family they love to go camping and long bike rides. They are involved with church. The boys are all adopted and the family is hoping to adopt a 4-year-old sister from Canada.
