We thank you our subscribers and advertisers who have supported
Families on-the-go over the years. Our prayer to you is to have a
Happy, Healthy New Year with your family!
To help you get started in the New Year read or reread the book
called Don't Sweat the Small Stuff--and it's all small stuff, by
Richard Carlson, PhD. This little book is packed with simple ways
we can keep from stressing over life’s problem and keep those
problems from taking over our lives. Google Richard Carlson to see
all the helpful books he has written. They are all good reads,
with simple helpful advice so we will focus on what matters in
life.
Most everyone should set goals and ways to improve our lives all
the time not just in the New Year. Two long term goals at Families
on-the-go, are to find more ways to help enhance someone else’s
life through community service and to find more ways to be green
in 2010. Less waste and more recycling, I love using my Publix
green bags. My family goal is to spend more time playing with my
family each day and not get caught up in the things that don’t
really matter.
Families on-the-go receives letters each issue from our subscriber
and advertisers. We enjoy reading them. They help us to
continually improve each year. Below are a few of the letters we
